Paradise Poem

Papers cover watermarked walls
Quiet air
Into scarlet thoughts I fall
Sitting there

Roll into the sea of ink
Sunlight
Nothing to do but think
Long nights

Existing in infinite places
Sore fingers
Loving a thousand faces
Feeling lingers

Not a place
Or line
Not an instant in time
Paradise

  1. Ok so seriously Lauren I love this! There is a simplicity about it which I find captures a calmness found only in a peaceful paradise. I love the imagery of a passionate writer, and his or her attempt to capture thoughts with "sore fingers". It really displays how much pleasure can exist between silence, nature and the mind. Didn't know it, but DAMN you're a poet :)
